Would you like to join a SME organisation in a financial leadership position during a busy period? CMA is working exclusively with an international organisation to recruit a Financial Controller on fixed-term contract basis for 12 months. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will oversee the general accounting function including management of a small team. This is very much an end-to-end position which will have strategic input whilst remaining close to the numbers.What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department including month-end, budgeting and cashflow forecasting;
• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
• Project accounting to show the effects of proposed plans on capital investments and cash position;
• Assist with UK and foreign entity audit process, intercompany transactions and provide financial analysis to support decision making

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable financial leadership experience gained in an SME environment;
• Possess experience with international entities;
• Experience in a project environment is advantageous 
• Be available to start within a one month notice period;
