Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading management consultancy across the UK Nuclear industry to recruit a Senior Consultant for the management and delivery of a variety of Civil Nuclear projects in the Southwest. Working as the Senior Consultant, you will work on programme delivery and business growth, making a real impact on key infrastructure in the UK.

The Senior Consultant role comes with a salary up to £65,000 dependant on experience as well as a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the senior management team you will:

Contribute to the delivery of key consultancy projects for a range of civil nuclear clients in the Southwest, offering effective solutions in the programme delivery.
Work to build strong relationships with the clients and internal and external stakeholders.
Support in the improvement of key project and programme performances in line with client requirements, identifying any opportunities and problems.
Discover and develop new business opportunities and possibilities for growth.
Demonstrate knowledge of regulators and licence conditions required to work within the civil nuclear sector.
Engage with colleagues and the wider team to effectively deliver on project brief, collaborating with others when needed.
Any other duties as required

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Project Management qualified
Chartered status is desirable
Previous experience managing projects in the nuclear sector is essential to this role

Ability to identify and deliver on business development opportunities.
