Position Description:

As the RLDA Engineer you will be responsible for planning and instrumenting test vehicles that require datalogging.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Design and Test Engineers to plan and execute tests.
Design and manufacture any fixtures/bracketry for sensor mountings.
Remotely provide data logging support during testing.
Basic knowledge of CAN.
Strain gauges, bridge configuration and application.
Basic knowledge and application of the following sensors:

LVDTs & RVDTs.
DC & ICP accelerometers.
Oil/Fuel/Brake pressure sensors.
K-type thermocouples.

Fundamental knowledge of motorcycles and their systems.
Carry out shakedown of instrumentation.
Basic analysis of data to ensure functionality.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair data logging systems.
Keep the calibrations up to date for the sensors and data logging systems.
Basic electronic component knowledge.
Basic experience working with low voltage DC wiring:

Soldering, Crimping, Splicing, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree - Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 3 years minimum experience in relevant field.
