Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor

Salary / Benefits £135 - £200 Day rate + Benefits

We are currency recruiting in the South East of England for an industry leading provider of Asbestos Removal and Consultancy services. They are currently recruiting for a qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Removal Supervisor. You will be overseeing a team of Asbestos Removal Operatives on licenced and non-licenced asbestos removals projects. Our client can offer a generous day rate, company vehicle, and opportunities for career progression. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable, happy to travel and stay away in line with company and client needs.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Brentwood, Romford, Ilford, Rainham, Dagenham, Barking, Bexleyheath, Erith, Dartford, Stanford - le - Hope, Canvey Island, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh , Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Braintree, Orpington, Bromley, Gravesend, Chatham, Sidcup.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working for a reputable Asbestos Removal outfit, working as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
" Holding the ARCA supervisor would be beneficial.
" Excellent technical and practical knowledge, well versed in relevant Health and Safety Guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills, able to create / amend RAMS & produce detailed reports.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels.

The Role:
" Attending Domestic, Construction, Industrial Commercial, Educational, and Healthcare sites overseeing and managing licenced and non-licenced removals projects.
" Liaising with clients to confirm scope of work to be carried out.
" Organising staff schedules, assigning to sites appropriately.
" Ensuring that operatives have the correct PPE, and equipment to carry out work safely.
" Creating and amending site specific RAMS when required.
" Ensuring work is being completed in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines to successfully pass HSE audits.
" Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing technical support and advice, ensuing any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
" Providing new and existing employees with high standard training when required.
