Our client is excited to be recruiting for a PMO coordinator to be based within our engineering team, their Low Voltage switchgear facility site, is based in Boldon Colliery. Their facility designs and manufacture HV/LV packaged sub stations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, final power distribution and control equipment that are type tested and verified to BSEN(phone number removed).,

As PMO Coordinator you will support the Project Management Team undertaking project governance and administration, in an efficient and timely manner, for a range of technically demanding, first-of-a-kind projects.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong administration skills and be accustomed to communicating with stakeholders and colleagues of varying levels.

This role will cover the following duties and responsibilities:

• Documentation of Change Notes, Technical Queries and Early Warnings

• Supporting the management and execution of financial processes including time sheet approval, application for payments, generation of procurement requisitions

• Preparation of spend forecasts

• Management of resourcing and materials budgets

• Monthly financial reporting

• Ensure governance standards are adhered to, highlighting any nonconformances

• Consistent Internal and external progress reporting including but not limited to status updates, progression, risks and issues

• Support scheduling of activities and milestones for the project team

• Documentation of meetings

• General administration

Previous experience or exposure to the following would be beneficial;

• Accustomed to working in technical project environments

• Familiar with engineering site related tasks and activities

• Experience supporting fast paced operational teams

• Ability to track and manage large complex budgets

• Preferably have circa 3 years' experience working within a comparable environment
