Maintenance Operative

Location: Thames Ditton, Surrey

Salary: £30,000+ per annum

What You'll Be Doing:

* Building & Equipment Maintenance - Oversee the upkeep of machinery, lighting, plumbing, drainage, heating, air conditioning, and general club facilities.

* Pool & Water Hygiene - Conduct regular water testing, backwashes, and maintenance of pool plant operations.

* Repairs & Refurbishments - Assist with redecoration, refurbishments, and general DIY tasks across the site.

* Security & Compliance - Ensure safety measures, alarms, fire extinguishers, and emergency procedures are adhered to.

* Record-Keeping & Stock Management - Maintain logs, update maintenance systems, and assist with deliveries.

* Flexible Working - Ability to work weekends and various shifts as required.

What We're Looking For:

* Technical Skills - General maintenance knowledge, including plumbing, electrical work, and repairs.

* Pool Plant Experience - Understanding of water hygiene and pool operations (Pool Plant Operators Qualification preferred but not essential).

* Problem-Solving Mindset - Ability to assess issues and find efficient solutions.

* Customer-Focused Approach - Friendly, approachable, and always ready to assist members and staff.
