As part of a rapidly growing SME, you'll step in to lead the Group's Finance division at a critical juncture. Your expertise and strategic insights will be instrumental in propelling the company forward during a year of significant turnover growth. Reporting to a supportive Finance Director, you'll ensure the finance function operates seamlessly, while aligning the team to achieve shared goals and maintain smooth, efficient processes.

What's involved?

• Act as No 1 in Finance within the business for all things finance related
• Enhance current processes and procedures to ensure things are water tight
• Manage month-end balance sheet and cashflow processes, ensuring deadlines and accuracy
• Produce and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor financial controls, PAYE, VAT, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate supplier and debtor payments
• Lead the annual audit and manage tax compliance
• Liaise with banks and funders, ensuring smooth reporting
• Oversee finance integration and due diligence for acquisitions
• Support FD with funding and reporting requirements
• Manage the Finance shared services function
• Hold monthly 1-on-1s and annual reviews for the team
• Oversee team development, performance, and study progress
