We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our clients team based in Gillingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that payments are received on time and resolving any payment queries. We are looking for someone who has at least 2/3 years' experience in credit control within a fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Chase clients and customers for outstanding debt by phone, email and letter.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
• Resolve any payment queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Monitor accounts and flag any potential issues.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures relating to credit control.

Required skills and experience:

• At least 2/3 years' experience in credit control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivots and vlookups.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
