Workday Extend Senior Technical Expert/Consultant

Overview:

We are seeking a Workday Extend Senior Technical Expert/Consultant to support a global pharmaceutical company undergoing a significant IT transformation. You will play a key role in optimising their Workday ecosystem, focusing on Workday Extend to expand functionality and create scalable solutions to meet HR and IT needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workday Extend Expertise: Lead the design and development of custom apps and integrations within the Workday platform.
• Solution Architecture: Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that align with global IT strategy.
• Application Development: Build secure and compliant custom applications using Workday Extend tools.
• Workday Configuration: Optimise modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Performance Optimisation: Identify and resolve performance issues within Workday Extend apps.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and guidance to internal teams for managing customisations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure all solutions meet high-quality standards before deployment.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with industry regulations in this highly regulated environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Workday Extend, developing complex, scalable solutions.
• Strong expertise in Workday HCM modules, especially Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits.
• Experience in global IT transformation projects, with the ability to navigate multiple regions.
• Technical expertise in Workday Studio and integration tools.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for addressing complex challenges.
• Workday Certification in Workday Extend or Integration preferred.
