We are looking for a Lead Endoscopy Nurse to join a specialist team provide support in planned endoscopy procedures. The role is based in a private hospital in Guildford, and comes with a generous salary of up to £48,000p/a and many excellent benefits. 

As their Lead Endoscopy Nurse, you will provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway, supporting and assisting the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in the management and organisation of care provision within the endoscopy unit.

Participate in the improvement in Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards for flexible endoscopy services including decontamination and clinical care
Apply legislation, policies and procedures correctly
Participate in departmental communication, policy development, and continuous quality improvement and meetingsTo apply for this role, you will need to be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid HCPC PIN. You will also require:

Experience of leading a clinical team
Basic and advanced competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination
Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination
Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06).
