Job role:
As a Personal Injury Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a Pre-Litigated and Litigated caseload of #removed# Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) files. You will:
- Handle a diverse caseload, working across pre-litigated and litigated files
- Write letters and negotiate settlements with clients and third parties
- Draft witness statements and review medical reports
- Issue court proceedings and manage the litigation process
- Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them updated and providing advice
Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Full working knowledge of CPR (Civil Procedure Rules) and JC guidelines (Judicial College Guidelines)
- Proven experience in handling litigated caseloads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
