Our client is seeking a General Manager to join their team, based in Zambia.
Measure the readiness of potential successors within the organization and the effectiveness of leadership development efforts.
To ensure a positive workplace culture, use employee surveys or engagement scores to measure progress.
Monitor and prevent the turnover rate of key talent.
Manages and controls the daily use of the Palladium accounting system.
Ensure that the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is done.
Oversee the company's annual budget and ensure that the monthly management accounts are prepared.
Provide strategic leadership by proposing a clear and ambitious long-term strategic vision for the company to the board and once the strategy is approved ensuring that is it executed. Also proposes, approves, and implements the company's policies and procedure.
Supervise all heads of department.
Assign work to all Heads of Department and check it.
For specific tasks assign work to junior members of staff.
Caution or discipline all staff.
Authorise payments and purchases.
Overall responsibility for company budget.
