MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

£38,000 -£45,000 DOE

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance function of specific brand(s). You will be responsible for preparing monthly accruals accurately, reviewing transactions, assisting in forecasting, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and overseeing accounts assistants. Your role will also involve developing reporting packs for stakeholders, supporting audits, managing supply chains, and participating in projects aimed at continuous improvement in Finance.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare Monthly Accruals: Ensure accurate and timely accruals every month.
  • Review Transactions and P&L: Analyse and sense-check monthly transactions and profit & loss performance.
  • Assist in Forecasting: Contribute to forecasting and analysis for our brands.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset recording.
  • Conduct Comparison Analysis: Perform comparison analysis on our monthly management information reporting.
  • Oversee Accounts Assistants: Lead and support our accounts assistants, including purchase and sales ledger management.
  • Develop Reporting Packs: Innovate and enhance reporting packs for key stakeholders within our Senior Leadership Team.
  • Support Audits: Be the go-to person for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in Projects: Engage in projects aimed at continuous improvement in our Finance department.
  • Manage Supply Chains: Oversee new and existing supply chains, including accounts and terms.

What You'll Bring:

  • Professional Qualifications: Part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA (QBE also welcome).
  • Industry Experience: Preferably experienced in structural architectural industries; construction industries and CIS accounting experience beneficial.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Management Skills: Proven management and development experience.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Xero and advanced Excel reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: Your meticulous nature will shine.
