We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of around 40 people in a fast paced manufacturing and production role. As the Production Manager you'll take full responsibility for the manufacturing department of this well established business in Newhaven.

As a Production Manager you will:

* Lead, manage, and motivate the production team, ensuring performance management processes are in place

* Work alongside the quality and engineering teams to ensure that products are thoroughly tested and compliant with specifications

* Support the manufacturing teams with product issues

* Produce project documentation as necessary

* Support continuous improvements and lean activities

* Support on project budgeting and cost management

* Ensure full compliance with QSHE

Skills & experience required:

* You'll need previous experience as a Production Manager from within a manufacturing environment

* Strong team management skills are required

* Knowledge of quality and health and safety within manufacturing is essential

* Ideally you'll hold Six Sigma Green +
