Advertising Agency | Shoreditch | Hybrid, 3dpw office based | 50-60k | 6m contract to perm

An award winning, rapidly growing are on the search for a dynamic management accountant to join their bright finance team on a 6-9 month contract.

This is a newly created role designed to support the growth of the business and has very strong potential to turn into a permanent role along with the opportunity to develop offer commercial exposure for the right person.

Management Accountant - The Role

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Managing budgets and forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis
• Overseeing client profitability analysis and helping optimize project costs
• Assisting with year-end audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Contributing to financial planning and strategic discussions
• Developing and improving financial processes and controls
• Providing ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to senior management
• Partnering with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide insights to enhance revenue growth and cost control
• Assisting in commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure financially sound deals
• Managing cash flow and working capital, identifying risks and opportunities to support business growth

Management Accountant - The Person

• Ambitious and dynamic go-getter with the ability to work across multiple entities
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in a management accounting role is essential
• Newly qualified or part-qualified
• Experience working for a creative agency or in advertising services is highly advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
