Overview: We’re looking for a skilled and organised Technical Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of maintenance operations at a high-profile commercial office site in the City of London. This is a predominantly off-the-tools role, focused on team management, compliance, and client interaction - though a hands-on approach may occasionally be required during busy periods or in support of the team.
Key Responsibilities: -
Supervise and support a team of 3 on-site engineers, overseeing daily operations and performance.

Allocate and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and reactive tasks, ensuring efficient and timely completion.

Ensure all compliance and statutory documentation is kept up to date and readily accessible.

Prepare, review, and issue Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) and Permits to Work.

Act as the primary contact for the on-site client, maintaining a professional and responsive presence.

Oversee contractor activities and ensure all works adhere to health & safety procedures.

Step in to assist with technical or urgent works when required, maintaining flexibility and team support.

Maintain site records and use the CAFM system for job tracking and reporting.
Requirements: -
Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical or mechanical preferred).

Proven experience in a supervisory or senior engineering role within commercial FM or building services.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, health & safety, and safe systems of work.

Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.

Comfortable being off the tools while remaining hands-on when necessary.

Competent in using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
