We are recruiting for a leading food product manufacturer and distributor in the Colchester area on a ongoing temporary basis, with an immediate start. This role would suit someone who has worked in a Yard environment before and has a driving licence enabling them to drive up to a 7.5T lorry.

Supporting the wider business in the distribution of product across the facility, this role is vital to the smooth running of internal procedures.

Duties Of The Yard Operative / Driver Will Include:

Driving a Lorry/Van around the yard when needed
Loading and unloading goods from cold store
Working in a chilled environment and outside as required
Checking for any broken or damaged products
Safe manual handling
Keeping a clean working environment
Carry out repetitive heavy lifting as required
The Ideal Yard Operative / Driver Candidate:

Must have a C1 or Grandfather rights for this role
Previous Warehouse/Yard Experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment is preferred
Able to carry out physical duties for extending periods
Looking for a Temporary Ongoing position
Hours & Pay:

Monday - Friday
10:00 - 18:30
