You will play a crucial role in assisting with the educational and social development of our young people, both in and out of the classroom. Your ability to adapt communication styles and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each pupil will be essential in helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Educational Programmes, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
Support pupils in managing challenging behaviour, promoting positive behaviour strategies, and implementing behaviour support plans.
Deliver tailored teaching activities on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
Contribute to school-wide evaluation and improvement efforts, and take the lead on specific aspects of school work as determined by the Headteacher.
Provide support during exams, extracurricular activities, and school trips, ensuring every pupil is fully engaged and supported.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for each pupil's development.
Act as an ambassador for Physis Care, promoting our values and commitment to high-quality therapeutic childcare.
Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a setting that supports young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues.
A thorough understanding of the professional standards for HLTAs, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding these standards.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and external partners.
A flexible and adaptable communication style, tailored to meet the needs of individual pupils.
A full, clean driving license with the ability and willingness to travel as required.
Why Join Physis Care?

Be part of a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of young people.
Opportunities for professional development and training, including physical intervention training (PRICE methodology).
A supportive and collaborative working environment, with a strong focus on employee well-being.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
