Job Duties:
The Junior HR Officer is responsible for assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and HR administration tasks. They will support senior HR staff in implementing HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee records, and participating in HR projects.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practises and employment laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Education:
A degree in Human Resources or a related field is required for this role.
Experience:
Previous experience in HR or a related field is preferred but not essential for this junior position.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of HR processes and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification or postgraduate qualification in HR
- Experience with HR software systems
- Experience in the military or defence industry
Working Conditions:
The Junior HR Officer will work full-time hours in an office setting, collaborating with colleagues in the Private Security industry.
Own car required
Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.
