CNC Miller Operator / Setter (4-Day Week)

Shifts Available:

* Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (4-day working week)

Salary:

* £39,936/year

* Full 12-hour shifts paid with no breaks deducted

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Permanent from the start

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Haas & Mazak controls preferred, others considered)

* Choose the right tooling and fixtures for each job

* Manufacture high-quality components according to specifications

* Perform accurate inspections using measurement tools

* Read and work from detailed engineering drawings

* Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies

What We're Looking For:

* Experienced CNC Miller with a background in setting and operating milling machines

* Familiarity with Haas and Mazak controls (other systems are welcome too)

* Skilled in selecting the right tools and fixtures from setup sheets

* Confident in producing components to precise tolerances

* Competent in using gauges for inspection and measurement

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

* Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail
