You heard it here first - Our wonderful Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team have an exciting opportunity to join us as Learning Delivery Manager.

The team business partner with all of our departments within NCHA and provide an array of training activities including: day to day training, eLearning, leadership development for managers and bespoke L&D requests. L & D are a part of the wider people team which also includes an advisory and recruitment HR service. The role:

As our Learning Delivery Manager, you will be involved in the full training lifecycle including; designing, organising, delivering, co-delivering and evaluating our current NCHA courses that we offer. You can make your own mark in this role by helping to create and develop new learning channels, eLearning material, group coaching sessions and workshops. A substantial part of this role is to oversee the delivery of our training courses via leadership of the team of In-House Learning and Development Advisors, ensuring they are well equipped to carry out their duties. Therefore it is essential that you have a wealth of experience of delivering training courses and you are confident to deliver and engage with a wide range of audiences, as well as the ability to manage a team.

A full valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential as you will be expected to deliver and Quality Assure training across our NCHA services in the East Midlands and to Northampton.

Ideal Candidate:

You will already have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering training activities within a workplace, as well as the ability to co-ordinate and manage the workload of the team. You will be an exceptional listener and an excellent communicator who is comfortable to provide positive and constructive feedback to colleagues and external customers at all levels of the organisation. It is beneficial if you have had experience in providing training in a care and support environment, as a high proportion of our in-house courses are designed for these colleagues. In addition, some experience of delivering training via remote channels would also be helpful, as we would like to move our internal training offer to a more blended approach in the future.

This post carries 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You may be required on occasion to work on weekends but this will be planned in advance where possible.
