Andersen James are currently supporting a property and asset management consultancy who are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join their growing team.

This role is crucial in supporting their clients in the housing sector with their procurement needs, ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and be able to apply this knowledge to guide clients through complex procurement scenarios.

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement projects, provide expert advice, and manage client relationships. Your expertise in PCR 2015 will be essential in drafting compliant documents, managing procurement systems, and ensuring all processes adhere to regulatory requirements. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with on-site presence at client offices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage procurement projects in line with PCR 2015 guidelines

* Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and compliance issues

* Draft and review procurement documents including Notices, SQs, and ITTs

* Manage various procurement systems and portals

* Ensure adherence to timelines and regulatory requirements

* Conduct client meetings and workshops related to procurement processes

* Review technical documentation for procurements

* Manage and maintain client relationships

Required Skills and Experience:

* Extensive knowledge and practical experience with PCR 2015

* Proven track record in managing complex procurement processes

* Proficiency in procurement portals (e.g., Mercell, In-Tend, Delta)

* Strong project management and client communication skills

* Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
