Are you an Art Teacher seeking a new, exciting opportunity? Empowering learning are currently working with a "Good" Secondary school in Castle Vale who are looking for an Art and design Teacher to start immediately for the full academic year. Our client has an extremely supportive SLT team and a good local reputation.

This position is full time and will be teaching Art and design up to GCSE with tutor group responsibilities. Knowledge on the Art GCSE Curriculum is essential & a proven track record of delivering high quality GCSE results.

Paying to scale from day one.

£150 Welcome Bonus

Duties of an Art Teacher:

  • Planning & Delivering Art and design GCSE Curriculum
  • Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
  • Working with machinery and equipment
  • Sit in on SLT Team Meetings, having a say on Key Decisions within the School
  • Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
  • A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
  • Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.
