Financial Controller - Nottingham - c£70k + benefits
 
Are you a Finance Manager looking for your next step up in your Finance career?  Would you like to have the opportunity to oversee the financial operations of the company?
We are working with a growing company based in Nottingham who are seeking an experienced individual who can play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic decision-making of the company.
 
Key responsibilities…
*            you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
*            you will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting for the company and any variances
*            you will assist the auditors to complete the statutory accounts
*            You will be responsible for maintaining a weekly cash flow forecast
*            you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, highlighting any areas for improvement
*            you will look at associated costs for business decisions and make recommendations
*            You will help to implement and maintain the financial systems and processes and look to drive process improvements
*            You will manage a team and be responsible for their training and growth
 
What the client is looking for?…
*            You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) with post qualified experience
*            Experience of managing a team
*            You will have good excel knowledge as well as proficiency in accounting software
*            You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills

*            Basic salary of c.£70,000
