A well-established, multi-disciplinary Fire Consultancy is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their dynamic team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within a forward-thinking consultancy, managing projects and driving innovation in fire safety.
The Senior Fire Engineer's Role As a Senior Fire Engineer, you'll report directly to the Head of Fire Engineering, managing projects independently and liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with current fire regulations while staying ahead of future industry changes.
With strong relationships in the Commercial, High-Rise, and Residential sectors, this consultancy offers an exciting variety of projects where you can make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage fire safety projects, ensuring client expectations are met
- Produce detailed fire strategy drawings and reports
- Develop compartmentation strategies and escape plans
- Conduct and review FRAEW assessments
- Attend and lead client-facing meetings to provide expert advice
- Contribute to business development efforts, supporting the consultancy's growth
- Stay updated on fire safety regulations and industry developments
The Ideal Senior Fire Engineer will have - 4+ years' experience as a Fire Engineer
- Strong expertise in fire strategy, compartmentation, and escape planning
- Proficient in creating and reviewing FRAEW assessments
- Degree educated in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial projects
- Skilled in leading client-facing meetings and managing client relationships
- Previous experience with business development is highly desirable
