Your new companyYour new company is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in the heart of the city. They provide a comprehensive range of accountancy, taxation, business planning and advisory services to individuals, trusts, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and companies from many sectors.This firm is now looking for a talented Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join the London office. Your new roleYour new role will be based in the London office and some of your duties and responsibilities are listed below:

• Preparing of management accounts and statutory year-end accounts with the team often acting as the first contact for all client queries, this includes LLP's and medium sized group consolidation under FRS 102
• Preparing and filing of corporation and personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping, payroll and VAT returns
• Supervise, assist and train other members of the team, this includes reviewing the work of and managing more junior members of the team
• Client portfolio management, including liaising with clients and maintaining good working relationships

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, ideally you will:

• Have recent experience within a UK accountancy practice including preparing accounts under FRS 102 and corporation and personal tax experience
• A qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
• Experience working in a general practice firm, conducting a range of duties
• Be confident supervising and coaching junior members of the team
