Our Essex-based client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking commercial Senior Buyer to lead and transform their procurement process. The successful candidate will focus on sourcing directly from original suppliers, driving continuous improvement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier selection and relationship management.
• Provide up-to-date market insights on key drivers, supply changes, and emerging products/services.
• Manage strategic supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery).
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and supplier risk management/contingency planning.
• Present data and recommendations to the board.
