Salary/rate:

Salary is paying £45,000 - £46,000 Per Annum depending on experience

Requirements:

Qualifications needed consist of the below -

City and Guilds in Plumbing
City and Guilds in Water Treatment
City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold-water systems
Experience working with cooling towers Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material Fully trained and knowledge

A well-established maintenance provider who are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to work on a commercial contract based in The City of London. Mon-Fri (Days) working 08:00 - 17:00

Responsibilities:

Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
Logbook Ownership
Chilled Water systems
Cooling tower maintenance
Closed system experience
Water flushing
Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold-water systems when the need arises
Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
Surveys on hot and cold-water systems
Basic Plumbing
Repairing pipework and leaks
Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
Carry out general building maintenance
Knowledge of the following: Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides
