• Duration: Ongoing, with an initial period of 3 months
• Schedule: Full-time

• Rate of Pay: £25 per hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As an RMN specialising in community psychiatry, your role will be pivotal in providing patient care:

• Conducting regular visits to patients within the community to assess and address their needs.
• Administering prescribed medications at scheduled intervals to manage patient conditions effectively.
• Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, facilitating efficient support and monitoring progress.
• Performing risk assessments as necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being throughout their treatment.

Requirements: To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a mental health nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in community-based psychiatric care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and support.
