Role: Product Manager (AI/ML)

Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 basic

Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days onsite - London)

Wedo is has partnered with a leading private equity-backed FinTech recognised for its award-winning product portfolio. The company specialises in low-cost, multi-currency payments, including money transfers, currency hedging, and expense management. They are seeking a Technical AI Product Manager to lead a Greenfield project, shaping the AI strategy for a 400-person organisation with direct exposure to the board.

Processing millions of payments and issuing thousands of cards annually, the company has immense opportunities to integrate AI into its ecosystem. Identified areas of innovation include:

• Building a Chatbot product to enhance customer service efficiency.

• Streamlining expense management by automating administrative tasks.

• Leveraging KYC to identify customers.

• Driving forward new AI product ideas, offering a lot of experimentation.

You likely began your career as a Software Engineer and transitioned into Product Management. Your enthusiasm for AI means you explore its potential beyond your professional career and likely subscribe to the latest AI platforms and tools. We need someone who's confident yet humble, a natural problem solver who understands that AI is not a universal fix yet knows it's value in the right placed. You're pragmatic, strategic, and capable of pitching new AI innovations at the board level to secure investment.

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, including:

• Shaping AI Strategy: Crafting and prioritizing the roadmap for AI initiatives, focusing on high-value opportunities.

• Translating Strategy into Action: Breaking down roadmap items into actionable tasks for Data Engineering, Design, and Development teams, as well as external implementation partners.

• Data Expertise: Collaborating with data teams to understand and utilize data effectively today while planning for tomorrow, building models to improve customer and business experiences.

• Product Collaboration: Working with the delivery team to translate business and customer requirements into product specifications, UX/UI designs, and tested solutions.

• Strategic Guidance: Partnering with product and technology leadership to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for AI and ML.

• Stakeholder Communication: Building strong relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

• Market Alignment: Collaborating with the Growth team to ensure AI-enabled product features are reflected in high-quality marketing campaigns and product collateral.
