We are currently seeking a highly motivated Finance Assistant to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate will ensure that transactions processed through the purchase and sales ledger are completed in a timely and accurate manner, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase ledger and inventory invoices efficiently.
  • Manage timely payments to suppliers and maintain credit control.
  • Handle customer receipts and bank payments with precision.
  • Create and post general ledger journals to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Raise debit notes for intercompany accounts as required.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
  • Manage accruals and prepayments to support accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education to GCSE standard as a minimum requirement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance role with similar responsibilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
