Opus people solutions on behalf of Peterborough City Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Practitioner to join their MASH Team.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner - MASH
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate:£45
Location: Peterborough, sand martin house
Remote/Office based: Hybrid - Sand Martin House. 3 days working in the office weekly. Non negotiable.

Job Information:

* Will undertake MASH Enquiries and complete them within allocated time available ( within 24 hrs)

* Will update chronology and complete analysis on s47 Red and s17 Amber contacts and pass through to Team Manager for sign off.

* Will support CAIO's in overseeing all child contacts that come in through the Portal and via email.

* Will provide direction and allocate Amber MASH Enquiries out once they have been RAG rated by the Team Manager

* Will provide case discussion and guidance to staff within the MASH.

* Will provide professional consultation to professionals via the PCL.

* Will attend MARAC and chair the Daily MASH Information Sharing Meeting

* Will provide monthly supervision to alternatively qualified staff.

* Will answer the Professional Consultation Line calls
