Salary: £28,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, shift system (7:45 am to 4:30 pm and 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, alternate days)

Start Date: September 2024

Role Overview:

TeacherActive is recruiting passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join the team, specifically for early years and pre-reception. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, a commitment to their development, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality care and education for children in the early years and pre-reception age groups

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities

- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times

Benefits:

- Competitive salary range of £28,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an increase to 30 days after 5 years and 35 days after 10 years of service

- Shift system with paid breaks (two 15-minute breaks and a 50-minute lunch break)

Qualifications and Experience:

- Relevant qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

- Experience working with young children in an educational setting

- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A proactive and positive approach to working as part of a team
