Leading Natural Resources business is looking to recruit a Group Accountant on a contract basis. Based in London, the role will report to the Group Reporting Manager.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing technical accounting papers
• Preparing monthly Group consolidation with relevant analysis
• Preparing quarterly external reporting releases
• Delivering consolidated forecast and budget information for various departments
• Liaising with external auditors
• Driving continual improvement of Group reporting processes
• Ad hoc tasks as required

The candidate:

• Qualified accountant with strong group consolidations experience
• Listed company technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence various stakeholders
• Team player with proactive approach and ability to solve problems
• Advanced IT skills ideally working knowledge of HFM
