Driver Hire has a rare opportunity with one of our clients for a Volumetric Concrete HGV Driver. This unique role offers more than the typical driving position and allows you to work hands-on with innovative equipment. This is a permanent full time role, with straight working hours and overtime opportunities.

About the Role
In this position, you'll drive a specialized vehicle designed to hold and mix concrete on-site to exact specifications. Unlike traditional barrel mixers, volumetric trucks carry all ingredients in separate compartments, enabling precise batch mixing with minimal waste. This flexible approach allows our client to serve a wide variety of customers—one day, you might be on a building site for a local house builder, and the next, delivering to a farm.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who:

* Has an interest in plant and machinery and a willingness to learn.

* Can adapt to the varying challenges of each site.

* Values responsibility in caring for and maintaining their vehicle.

Hours & Benefits

* Normal hours: 7 am - 5 pm, with overtime opportunities, especially during summer.

* Pay: £12.62 per hour, plus a £10 daily bonus for vehicle upkeep and maintenance.
