GSL Education is seeking passionate, motivated Teaching Assistants to join one of our outstanding primary schools in Newham. If you have experience supporting children, both individually and in small groups, and you're available to start right away, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

Inspire Learning: Work closely with the class teacher to motivate students and help them reach their full potential.
1:1 and Group Support: Provide personalized support to children with special educational needs (SEN) through one-on-one and small group sessions.
Build Confidence: Help students develop confidence and self-esteem with attentive listening and tailored strategies that promote effective learning.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting pupils with SEN.
Supportive Skills: Ability to provide effective 1:1 support, with a basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
Team Player: Strong teamwork skills, alongside excellent communication abilities.
Confidence Boosters: A knack for helping students increase their confidence through active listening and thoughtful interventions.

Important Requirements:

A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential for this role. All successful candidates will need to pass comprehensive recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
