We are seeking a motivated and experienced Stop Smoking Advisor to join a team in Preston. This is a temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. As a Stop Smoking Advisor, you will work closely with individuals to support them in quitting smoking, providing evidence-based advice and tailored interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and group-based support to clients looking to stop smoking.

* Offer behavioral support and pharmacotherapy advice in line with the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT) guidelines.

* Conduct initial assessments and follow-up appointments.

* Maintain accurate records and update client information on the relevant databases.

* Monitor client progress and adapt interventions where necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

Requirements:

* NCSCT Level 2 trained (essential).

* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a Stop Smoking service or healthcare environment.

* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients from diverse backgrounds.

* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
