Circa £26,000 - £29,000 depending on your language skill

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Spanish speaking customer services professional to join a successful growing business based in Telford. Based within their busy international customer services department and liaising extensively with the international customer base, you will be required to handle all customer requirements from the initial enquiry through to after sales queries.

Responsibilities will include:

* The purpose of this role is to handle any customer requirements appertaining to the obtainment of the order - from the quote up until order entry. Giving the customer first class service, offering assistance such as alternative products and promotional offers. This role should be focussed on improving the value of sales-in with a frontline sales attitude and approach.

* Ensure all orders received are put onto the system. Give customers information related to their order. Clerical support for the sales team.

* Prepare sales reports using a reporting system.

* Review customer order profiles and call customers that have not ordered recently to review requirements.

* Call potential and existing customers to help increase sales.

* Maximise all sales opportunities by promoting the highest standard of customer care.

* Receive telephone, EDI and Email orders.

* Issue order acknowledgements promptly with correct prices, part numbers and realistic delivery dates.

* Work with the marketing team to advise customers on current promotions.

* Carry out sales calls to new and existing customers with objectives of presenting the product range and getting appointments for sales force to visit or introducing new products/ follow up on leads. This should account to max 40% of the working time.

* From time to Time, travel with European Sales force and represent the company at exhibitions.

* Price amendment forms.

* Maintaining customer data in the company CRM.

* Provide administrative support to the International Sales team.

* Administration alongside the French customers.

* Develop and implement new systems procedures and working practices to improve customer service efficiency.

* Maintain and develop customer records / profiles, including recording information supplied by internal customers.

* Receive and record any relevant customer feedback, including assessing how our competitors are meeting our customers' needs.

* Attentive, prompt and courteous handling of all customers enquires.

* Customer education on current prices and part numbers.

* Confirm stock availability when required.

* Maintain and develop Customer accounts.

* Record weekly KPI's.

* Deal with public enquires to promote our brand and products.

* Record all customer complaints according to agreed procedure.

* Send out sales reports to the sales team on a daily, weekly or monthly basis if required.

* Raise and issue customer quotations.

* Carry out any reasonable task requested by management.

* Weekly KPI's (new accounts, urgent orders, telesales & hit rate).

The Candidate will be/ have:

Good communication skills, verbal & written English & Spanish.

Well organised.

Ability to work on his/ her own.

Ability to use initiative.

Flexible approach to work to support a small team.

Previous experience in a high-volume Customer Service role, preferably within FMCG.

Ability to work with computerised stock control system.

Knowledge of export documentation and procedures.

SAP knowledge would be of an advantage, training will however be provided.

Spanish language skills required - ideally native speaker or close.

French language skills advantage.

You will be well presented with outstanding communication skills and be comfortable liaising with both existing and new customers over the telephone and face to face. A flexible approach to occasional travel will be required and the ability to success in a demanding, fast paced customer service environment. An additional language in French would be advantageous.
