A genuinely exciting position has arisen at a well respected Mortgage Broker based in Beckenham. They are looking to appoint a Trainee Mortgage Adviser / Administrator.

They have a multi year training program where you will learn all aspects of the Mortgage business culminating with you gaining the industry recognised CeMAP Mortgage Advice qualification and becoming a Mortgage Adviser.

Initially you will work on the administration side of the firm, gaining an understanding of the back office systems that support the business. You will be keying in applications making sure all necessary documentation is completed with a high degree of accuracy. Routine liaison with lenders, insurance companies and clients alike, ensuring that the Mortgage or Insurance policies are case managed from the initial application through to completion. You will be working closely with the Mortgage Advisers and the Director on a daily basis.

You will then be involved in product research supporting the Mortgage Advisers on more complex cases, developing a deeper knowledge of the market and having more contact with the clients. During this time you will sit CeMAP while still working closely with the Advisers and Administration team. Once qualified you will make the transition across to become a Mortgage & Protection Adviser with a potential income of £50K+

A salary of £24,000 + Bonuses (around £2K pa) is on offer to the successful candidate. This is a full time, office based position.

Previous sales, finance or customer services experience is advantageous, as is a "can do" attitude and a willingness to learn and listen are required.
