Trade Counter Assistant
Based: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £28,300 depending on experience
The hours of work are 44.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5.00pm, with alternate Saturdays 8.00am - 12.00pm
Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for sales? We're looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant to drive profitable growth across a broad product range for a builders merchant based in Newcastle.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Achieving and exceeding sales & margin targets
* Selling a range of quality products
* Identifying new sales opportunities and boosting customer engagement
* Attending joint visits with supplier reps to grow accounts
* Providing top-notch customer service in-person and over the phone
* Maintaining accurate pricing and stock levels
* Helping move slow stock and keeping displays neat and updated
* Supporting daily operations and administrative tasks

* Ideally you will have experience working in a builders merchant or trade counter sales
* Experienced in selling in person and over the phone.
