ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW

Alchemy London Market is seeking multiple testers to assist with the creation of test scripts for an insurance claims and premium hub.

You will play a crucial role in preparing test scripts based on user stories and user journeys to be ran by the project team.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES:

• Develop detailed, clear, and easy-to-understand test scripts based on user stories and journeys to validate the functionality of the insurance system.
• Translate user stories and journeys into comprehensive test scripts that ensure the system functions as intended.
• Ensure that each script accurately reflects the actions described in the user journey and provides expected results.
• Collaborate with other team members to review user stories and ensure all aspects are covered in the test scripts.
• Focus on the logical flow of how a claim is processed, how premiums are calculated, and how system interactions are expected to occur.
• Maintain clear and well-organised documentation for all test scripts created.
• Ensure that the test scripts comprehensively cover all necessary steps, ultimately validating the expected system outcomes.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET

• Previous experience in insurance, particularly within the London Market, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with claims processes, premium management.
• Solid understanding of unit testing and test scripts creation.
• Ability to create and interpret test scripts.
• Knowledge of the principles behind testing and the different types of tests.
• Ability to identify key steps in a user journey and turn them into concrete test scenarios.
