This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, based in Derriford, Plymouth, UK offering a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:
Support the Buyer in sourcing innovative and high-quality products.
Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to drive value and efficiency.
Manage daily supplier communications and maintain strong relationships.
Achieve margin and sell-through targets.
Analyse competitors and maintain the perfect product mix.
Contribute to the buying process by:
Attending buying meetings.
Travelling within the UK and abroad when necessary.
Forecasting stock and placing orders.
Attending buying appointments to gather product insights.What We're Looking For:
Experience in a retail or fast-paced trading environment.
Strong analytical skills, especially in Excel.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and full of fresh ideas.
