Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They are looking for someone with an Electrical bias, with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights (12 hour shifts: 6.00am - 6.00pm / 6.00pm - 6.00am)
Salary: £46,548 including shift allowance.
This role is based at Hazlehead (S36), with possible irregular travel to other sites across the UK.
Responsibilities:
• To undertake electrical engineering activities and assist in planned, unplanned and improvement work, in line with equipment and schedule attainment, taking into consideration any legal requirements
• Supporting shift engineers to maintain plant and equipment, customer service and required OEE
• Maintain PPM schedule attainment
• Maintain plant and equipment OEEs
• Pro-active / re-active monitoring
• To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards
• To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
• To participate in all training programs including the training of others
• Drive continuous improvement across site
• Be involved with project work as and when required
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or an ONC Electrical qualification, or HNC Electrical qualification
• A time served multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong technical and electrical knowledge in automated assembly systems
• Process the ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.
• 24v to 415 v circuits and controls etc
