ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a passionate and dynamic hospitality leader looking to take the reins of an exciting, speakeasy-style cocktail bar? The Bootlegger Leeds is on the hunt for a charismatic and driven Bar Manager to lead our team, drive sales, and keep the drinks (and good times) flowing.
As Bar Manager, you’ll have full operational and financial responsibility, ensuring The Bootlegger continues to be a top nightlife destination. You’ll be expected to bring creative ideas, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to every shift.
This full-time role offers an immediate start. The recruitment process includes two interview stages and a bar visit to experience the Bootlegger vibe firsthand.

As our Bar Manager, your key duties will include:
Financial Performance: Full profit & loss responsibility, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded. Customer Engagement: Delivering an outstanding guest experience, building customer loyalty, and handling concerns professionally. Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, and motivating your Bootlegger crew to maintain high service standards. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all licenses, health & safety protocols, and liquor regulations are up to date. Creative Promotions & Events: Developing exciting new offers, live entertainment, and themed nights to drive sales. Supplier & Inventory Management: Collaborating with vendors to introduce new products and manage stock efficiently. Maintaining Venue Standards: Ensuring the bar remains spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and always Instagram-worthy. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✔️ Minimum 1 year experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced bar or hospitality venue.
✔️ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and manage a talented team.
✔️ Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills—you’re a natural host!
✔️ Financial acumen—understanding P&L, budgeting, and negotiating with suppliers.
✔️ Innovative mindset—bringing fresh ideas for promotions, cocktails, and events.
