About the Role

This part-time, temporary position is perfect for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to support Key Stage 1 students in their educational journey. You'll play a key role in providing booster sessions and targeted interventions, helping pupils achieve their full potential. Additionally, you'll work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), offering tailored support and encouragement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.

• Leading small group interventions to enhance literacy and numeracy skills.

• Providing one-on-one support for pupils with SEN to ensure inclusion and progress.

• Fostering a nurturing and positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in a Key Stage 1 setting is highly desirable.

• Adaptability: The ability to support a diverse range of learners, including those with SEN.

• Passion: A genuine love for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.

• Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
