Our client, a vibrant and nurturing nursery, is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader (Level 3 qualified) to join their dedicated team. This well-established service is committed to providing high-quality early years education, offering tailored learning experiences within purpose-designed rooms that support each stage of a child’s development.

 

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in fostering a stimulating and safe environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. Leading a team of practitioners, you will oversee the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring exceptional care and educational activities that align with EYFS standards.

 

What We’re Looking For?

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and child development.
  • Proven leadership experience in an early years setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
  • Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Monitor children’s progress and keep accurate records.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
  • Support team development through mentoring and training opportunities.
