About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator with experience in Solaris and AWS to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining Linux and Solaris (V10/11) environments, managing clustering, and performing system patching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux and Solaris (V10/11) systems, including Oracle (Sparc) environments.
- Perform cluster patching, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Utilize Puppet and automation/orchestration tools to manage infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in Linux System Administration with exposure to AWS and Solaris.
- Hands-on experience with Solaris clustering, patching, and system upgrades.
- Proficiency in Puppet and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
