About the Role:
Our vibrant primary school in M45 is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning within our school, particularly within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA looking to take on more responsibility and make a significant impact on students' education.

As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences for students, both individually and in groups. You will also be responsible for leading sessions in the absence of the class teacher and providing ongoing support for pupils with various learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering lessons, under the direction of the class teacher.
* Lead small group sessions and provide 1:1 support to students.
* Take responsibility for delivering lessons or activities in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support the inclusion of children with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting support to meet individual needs.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, focused learning environment.
* Support the social and emotional development of students, building positive relationships with children and staff.
* Assist with administrative duties, including preparing resources and marking work.

Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4 or above).
* Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and an understanding of how to support children's learning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
