Located on the outskirts of Warrington it has excellent motorway connections. Providing servicing, maintenance and repair to our customers fleets.
We are recruiting for HGV Technicians at our Warrington site.
We are currently looking to recruit for 2 HGV Technicians to join our busy team.
The purpose of this role is to repair and maintain our customers vehicles to comply with legal and company standards. Candidates will be responsible for actively seeking solutions to challenges and for embracing a safe and efficient operating approach to their work.
* Location : Warrington
* Contract : Full Time / Permanent
* Salary : £40,170 - £42,158 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
* Shift patterns - WEEK1 (6:00- 14:00) WEEK2 (14:00 - 22:00)
* Overtime avaliable depending on workload
HGV Technician responsibilites (will include but not limited to the following)
* To inspect and maintain our customers HGV fleet
* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre
* To record vehicles defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle
* Repair minor accident damage
* Carry out fault diagnositcs
* To put safety first regarding all aspects of the role
HGV technician key skills & experience
* Works well independently and in a team
* Manages deadlines well and understands how to prioritise a workload
* Commercial experience on HGV's, engines, transmissions, fuel and emission system is essential
* The ability to use computer diagnostic systems preferable but not essential
