Summary of role:

Our South East construction teams are expanding, and we're looking for skilled Cable Jointers to join our growing team.

We are looking for an experienced LV/HV Cable Jointers with a proven track records. You'll work alongside other Cable Jointers and Jointer's Mates, focusing on Low Voltage and/or High Voltage New Connections. This opportunity is open to both experienced lone Jointers or established teams looking to transition together.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

1. Ensure before commencing work you are in receipt of all relevant documentation, drawings and that you understand the task(s) that you are instructed to undertake.

2. Carry out on site Risk Assessments and method statements before commencing works

3. Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health, Safety & Quality at all times

4. Ensure all works are carried out to Total utility connections, DNO and/or IDNO specifications

5. Ensure the appropriate usage of Tools, Equipment & Plant.

6. Make the Project Manager/construction manager are aware of any project variations.

7. Report all accidents and incidents

8. Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations and the company's quality standards

9. Working in a safe manner and in accordance with the Company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies and procedures.

10. Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills and actively manage their continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Recognised DNO/iDNO LV live, 11kV and/or 33kV cable jointing training

2. Previous DNO/iDNO LV live, 11kV and/or 33kV cable jointing authorisation

3. EUSR or ECS card

4. Highly motivated and quality driven

5. Excellent communication skills.

6. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

7. Ability to communicate using different mediums

8. Willingness to work flexibly to meet the reasonable needs of the Company.

9. NRSWA Operator certification (desirable)

10. A valid UK driving licence.
